Dayton REALTORS® is pleased to announce the slate of candidates for the upcoming election for the Board of Directors and Treasurer for the term commencing January 1, 2025. Voting for these candidates begins Tuesday, October 15 and will conclude on Tuesday, October 22 at midnight. The results of the election will be announced at our annual Membership Appreciation event on Wednesday, October 23.

Kunal Patel

As broker/owner of Glasshouse Realty Group, Kunal has guided the brokerage through its fast, steep and organic growth throughout Dayton and surrounding areas. As a service-minded and relationship-driven REALTOR®, Kunal leads by example in showcasing how powerful a supportive culture and strong community ties can be in realizing new levels of success. Since Kunal joined Glasshouse late last year, the brokerage was voted "Best Real Estate Agency" for the second consecutive year in Dayton.com's 2024 Best of Dayton awards and was named to the Dayton Business Journal's 2024 Fastest Growing Companies List, which recognizes companies in the Dayton region with the highest percentage growth in revenue over the past four years. Glasshouse also became a full-service brokerage when it launched a formal commercial division this summer. Elizabeth Cooper, a proud Dayton native, is the dynamic founder and partner of her real estate team. Elizabeth's leadership extends beyond her team; she currently serves as the President of the Women's Council of REALTORS® Dayton Network for both 2023 and 2024. Her local governance experience includes involvement in Dayton REALTORS®' Professional Development Committee (2024 Chair), the DARPAC Committee (2024 Vice Chair), and past involvement with the Community Services Committee. She serves as an Ohio REALTORS® Board of Directors Member, and is a RPAC Major/Presidents Circle Investor. Elizabeth earned her MBA from Miami University and Bachelors from The Ohio State University. She has also completed the Women's Council of REALTORS® National Leadership Institute and is a member of the 2024 Class for the Ohio REALTORS® Leadership Academy. Her dedication to the real estate community and her passion for empowering others have led her to the decision to run for the board of Directors. Heather Haase, known as Sunshine, is a seasoned REALTOR® with over 8 years of experience, a coach, and national speaker committed to advancing the real estate industry. Tapped in at all association levels, she’s the Future Chair for NAR Meetings and Conference Committee, serves on the Ohio Board of Directors and as Ohio Conference Chair, and has extensive experience across various committees at Dayton REALTORS®. Heather’s out-of-the-box thinking and innovative ideas make her a standout candidate. Driven by her passion for supporting fellow REALTORS®, she’s dedicated to being a steward for the REALTOR® community. In addition, traveling the country to attend conferences, Heather brings fresh, fun, and innovative ideas to the board, ensuring the association remains forward-thinking and dynamic. With a strong commitment to advocacy and education, she’s ready to continue making a positive impact.

Laurie Johnson has been a full-time REALTOR® for 36 years in Miami County and Northern Montgomery County. She is a Dayton REALTORS® Director and an Ohio REALTORS® Director. She has been with Coldwell Banker Heritage since 2008. Laurie was recognized as REALTOR® of the Year in 2009 and 2010 and is there for her clients in “Every Move You Make.” Laurie has a passion for real estate and serving her community, and she is looking forward to the chance to continue serving Dayton REALTORS® on the Board of Directors.

Tiffany has a BS in Education from Wright State and a Masters in Educational Leadership/Administration from Antioch McGregor University. She is a broker, founder of her selling team, and an instructor for CE courses and NAR designations/certifications. She is a 3rd generation REALTOR® since 2011 and member of Dayton REALTORS® where she has served as Chair/Vice Chair of several committees, the 2020 Dayton Leadership Academy class and 2021-24 Ohio REALTORS® Director.  Tiffany serves on NAR Diversity, several Ohio REALTORS® committees, is an officer in the Women’s Council of Ohio of NAREB, Women’s Council of REALTORS®, a member of the Greater Dayton Realtist  and Miami Valley Fair Housing Center.  She is a graduate of Ohio REALTORS® Leadership Academy and WCR National Leadership Institute in 2024. Tiffany is passionate about advocating for issues that impact REALTORS® and the industry and has brought  this level of commitment with her as a Director for the past 3 years.. She would be honored to continue to serve as representative and advocate for the membership.

His deep connection to the Miami Valley is reflected in his background—growing up in Miami County, earning his Bachelor's from Cedarville University, and residing in Centerville and Kettering since 2005. Andrew’s understanding of the local market, combined with his experience, makes him a valuable asset to Dayton REALTORS®. Throughout his career, Andrew has contributed by serving on committees and task forces, including MLS, Forms, and Grievance. Passionate about building strong relationships and going the extra mile for his clients and colleagues, Andrew is driven by a desire to do what is right and protect the interests of all members. Her leadership is rooted in inclusivity and a deep understanding of the diverse needs within the real estate community. Maura's involvement with Dayton REALTORS® underscores her commitment to the profession. She has served on various committees, including Professional Standards, Recognition, YPN, and the By-Laws Task Force, among others. Bob Whigham, a proud Ohioan, is a lifelong learner with an adventurous spirit. He graduated from Nettie Lee Roth High School and pursued degrees from Sinclair Community College and Wright State University. Bob also studied history at the University of Dayton. His six years in the U.S. Navy, with deployments to 17 countries, enriched his life with diverse experiences. Bob's career highlights include serving as a General Manager for a Japanese manufacturing company and working as a CPA before transitioning to real estate. For two decades, Bob and his wife Sue thrived as real estate investors, leading to successful ventures. For the past 21 years, Bob has been a full-time REALTOR® in southwest Ohio, helping countless clients find their dream homes. His friendly nature endears him to everyone, and he enjoys exploring historical sites and engaging with the community. Bob's impressive career and love for learning, history, and travel have shaped his journey, making him a successful REALTOR® and investor, positively impacting those around him.

Kim Williams, a successful real estate professional, has over 30 years’ experience in the Dayton housing market. Her career spans roles including small business-owner, credit counselor, loan officer, and marketing manager. She loves helping her clients realize their dream of homeownership. As president of Greater Dayton Realtist Association, she focuses on increasing homeownership in the Black and underserved communities through education, advocacy and service and collaborating with financial institutions and non-profits to help build generational wealth. Kim serves as the Immediate Past Chairperson of the DEI committee for Dayton REALTORS® and is a Director for Ohio REALTORS®. Kim would be honored to serve as Director and represent you honestly and transparently! Kim serves as a Board Member on the City of Clayton’s Planning Commission. She was also a member of the PLAN Clayton Implementation Committee that provides a road map, developed by residents and community stakeholders, for future growth and development.
