HOW TAG AND REALTORS® WORK TOGETHER
We help REALTORS® in three ways:
1. FREE PROPERTY REPORTS
This does not mean to call us on every property you list or are representing a buyer because they are free. You call us when you notice damage to a roof, siding, interior, etc; and you want an expert to give you a report on it. We will let you know whether the damage is mechanical, basic wear and tear, or insurance related; and the options to fix it.
This is a very different service than that of a traditional home inspection which only identifies items to repair.
2. INSURANCE CLAIMS
What most people don’t know is that 80% OF ALL DAMAGE TO PROPERTIES IS INSURANCE RELATED.
We understand most sellers do not want to spend any money on a home they are going to sell. That is where we come in! We will assist the property owner to file a claim, meet with the adjuster and then do the work they approve. We can also assist if you represent the buyer as well. We will work with the seller’s and their insurance to get the property indemnified.
This saves the seller money, makes the home more appealing, will pass any inspection, and allows you to sell the property for more!
3. CE CLASSES
We are approved to teach a 1-hour REALTOR® continuing education class called “Storm Damage and REALTORS®: How Insurance claims can help realtors improve properties and sell more homes”. If you are interested in having us come to your real estate office and teach the class let us know. We offer this class free of charge.
