MLSs in Cincinnati and Dayton Allow Seamless Access to Lockboxes

Dayton REALTORS® and the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati are excited to announce that they have entered into a reciprocal agreement with one another to allow members of both organizations full, shared access to SentriLock lockboxes beginning June 11, 2024. This will make it much easier for members of both trade associations to show home listings up and down the I-75 corridor.

REALTORS® will be able to access any SentriLock lockbox from either organization using the SentriKey app on their phone. This eliminates the extra step of having to contact the agent from the other organization when showing a listing outside of the respective region.

“This reciprocity agreement is a win for all REALTORS® in southwest Ohio,” said Kelly McCormick, president of Dayton REALTORS®. “We’ve worked together on this agreement for over a year, and rolling this out to our members will make it much easier for everyone to serve their clients.”

“With this agreement, another boundary between Cincinnati and Dayton has been removed, offering a unified, frictionless experience for all involved,” Tracy Dunne, President of the MLS of Greater Cincinnati. “Our commitment to security and access accountability remains steadfast, while providing an efficient, streamlined approach to better serve our clients.”

SentriLock subscribers who take advantage of this new reciprocity agreement will need to familiarize themselves with the other organization’s lockbox rules, but the seamless integration of lockbox technology will be a timesaver for agents, buyers, and sellers.
