Dayton REALTORS® swore in the 2023 officers and directors at the REALTORS® Installation Reception, held at Carillon Park on Thursday, January 12th. The highlight of the event was the inauguration of Greg Blatt as president of the 3,300-member association.
Blatt, a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Advisors Realty, has been a REALTOR® at Dayton REALTORS® since 1981. In 2021 he was elected as Dayton REALTORS® treasurer and served as the chairperson of the finance committee, and in 2022 he was president-elect and oversaw several committees and projects.
“This year we will have a focus on economic growth and development,” Blatt stated during his remarks shortly after being sworn in by Ohio Supreme Court Justice Pat DeWine. “We will work closely with our local government officials, economic development officers… and corporate partners to promote Dayton and the Miami Valley as a place worthy to call home. REALTORS® promote and protect the rights of individual private property owners, and we deeply care about the communities in which we live.”
Other board officers installed include Kelly McCormick, president-elect, and Pat Corle, treasurer. Associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage, McCormick has been a REALTOR® since 1998, and Corle, associated with Home Experts Realty, has been a REALTOR® for 28 years.
Members elected or re-elected to the Board of Directors are Jennifer Moore and Laurie Westheimer, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Brian Sharp, associated with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Professional Realty; Joe Willen, associated with Home Experts Realty; David Dickinson, associated with NAI Bergman, and Max Snyder with PrimeLending.
REALTORS® who are serving unexpired terms on the Board of Directors are Laurie Johnson, Heather Zimmaro and Jeff Spring, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Heather Haase, associated with Home Experts Realty; Maura Schmitt, associated with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Professional Realty; Tiffany Lobertini, associated with Home Experts Realty; Christina Gentry, associated with Luxe Omni; and Guy Roth, associated with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Big Hill. Billie Duncan-Hart, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage, will continue to serve on the board as immediate past-president.
