Over $300,000 has been secured for relief
On June 6, Ohio REALTORS® and Dayton REALTORS® held a press conference in Trotwood announcing the establishment of the Ohio REALTORS® Housing Disaster Relief Fund that will provide up to a $1,000 non-repayable grant to residents whose home or rental were damaged by the tornadoes. Through a grant from NAR, along with donations from individual REALTORS® and local associations, the Ohio REALTORS® Housing Disaster Relief Fund will be providing more than $325,000 in financial relief to qualified residents.
In order for victims to apply, they must first be aware of it and learn where to go to access the application. We encourage all members to share this information on social media; post details on your website; and speak one-on-one with individuals who need the financial assistance. By visiting ohiorealtors.org, residents can find all the necessary information, and you can make a donation to the Ohio REALTORS® Housing Disaster Relief Fund. Or if you want to keep your contributions local, you can continue to support our Dayton REALTORS® Foundation.
